Design & Education Team
Candy Rosenberg - Director of Education & Lead Educator
My name is Candy Rosenberg and I have been an artist since I was born, I was cutting paper the second I could fit scissors in my hand. When I was first introduced to scrapbooking nearly 5 years ago now, I really did not take to it very easily. It took quite a while to get it figured out.
I remember walking into my first Creating Keepsakes Convention in Portland, Oregon. I made the four hour trip with my 8 year old daughter and when we first walked up to the convention area there was a roped off section of rolling totes. I can remember looking at all the totes with stacks of other totes on top of them that went 4-5 feet high. The first thing that came to mind was "are these women completely out of their minds"!
Little did I know that I would eventually join that group of crazy women! I went one step further however as I started to find my niche. I love to teach, I love playing with paper and making art and most especially inspiring others.

Sarah Hurley - Educator & Designer
I am an illustrator and craft designer from the UK. I live in (sometimes) sunny Essex with my fiancé and my little dog Belle. I have been drawing and creating ever since I can remember, at school I used to make my school books into paper purses for my friends! I’m now lucky enough to have my passion as my career and work with some of the best companies in the world as well as developing my own line of products. I have featured on the UK craft TV channel and been published in most of the UK craft magazines. I do all kinds of crafts including card making, scrapbooking and altered art. My style varies depending on my project and I love to alter and find different uses for products. I also love fashion and photography (although I’m still a beginner myself) and I’m always busy!

Beth Gaddis - Design Team/Blog Coordinator & Designer
My name is Beth. I’m a thirty four year old insurance agent in the relative middle of nowhere. I’ve been married a year and a half (after a super-brief 11 year relationship).
I am an avid scrapbooker, a Facebook & Twitter addict, and a Disney dork. If you stand still in my presence for more than a minute you’ll hear about my love for beautiful music, more specifically the beautiful music of the amazing Duke Special.
I am in constant countdown mode for the next Disney World trip or weekend at the Georgia coast.
Leica Forrest - Designer
Leica Forrest has been creative and passionate about art since she was able to hold a crayon. Constantly drawing on walls and signing her little sisters name to the artwork, she embraces all the creativeness that scrapbooking brings. She first discovered it when she started traveling all over the world and realized she wanted to remember her experiences forever. Then she married the man of her dreams, and they had 2 boys (Riley:7, Jager:5) and a little girl (Ireland: almost 3).
Now you will find her embracing the life of a mommy while still teaching locally and travelling internationally teaching scrapbooking and altered art classes where you are sure to have a good time laughing and learning.
She has been published in U.S. & Canadian magazines, international websites and blogs. She has also worked on design/educator teams for many of the industry's leading manufacturers. Jan Hennings - Designer
My name is Jan Hennings and I live in rural Iowa with my hubby and 4 teenagers. (We have 7 children and a few are off to college.) I’d describe my style as a lot of vintage and a little shabby. Altered Art and Home Décor are my real passions and I enjoy some mixed media and card making.
My strengths are teaching and sharing my passion with others. I’ve been teaching for the last 6 years and recently traveled to Winnipeg Canada to teach for a Company. I also teach at a local scrapbook store and Hobby Lobby. My art has been published in several Stampington and Company publications as well as Scrap and Stamp magazine.
Tanisha Long - Designer
I live in New Jersey with my husband and our 2 incredibly adorable sons, Donovan and Xander. I am currently a stay-at-home mom, but hoping to get back in the workforce very soon. I also volunteer for the Community Emergency Response Team in my town. I've been scrapping for the past 7 1/2 years and I truly love it because it allows me to combine my love of photography and my love of paper into one art form. I am one of those scrappers who loves to do "All About Me" pages. As a mother of 2 boys, I find this as my opportunity to use my favorite girly products: pink, bling, ribbon, flowers and chipboard. I am thrilled to be a part of the Basically Bare team!!
Jamie Pope - Designer
My name is Jamie Pope and I live in small town Georgia. I've had my hands in some sort of craft since I was a little girl and I have my stepmother to thank for really sparking my interest. My style as a scrapper is completely reflective of my mood when I sit down at my desk - from clean and simple to torn and grungy. That in itself if one of my favorite aspects of the craft, I'm never "boxed" into a specific style. I can create as my heart wishes.
Rebecca Price - Designer
Hi, my name is Rebecca Price, and I am an addict. I am addicted to a hobby called scrapbooking. It started out simple enough, just a few papers, embellies, and a 12x12 trimmer given to me by my SIL. I made a few layouts, and was instantly hooked. Then the next step of the addiction process took hold- I went shopping for supplies for the first time. I was hooked once again. For awhile, I was shopping more than I was scrapping. I accumulated a large stash astonishingly quickly! Yep, that's how it started. Now, going on five years later, I have seen my own personal style develop, and I am a lover of distressing and texture. I scrap so my children can remember their past, and get a glimpse of who I am through my artistic expression. So, show me those pretty flowers, that deliciously messy paint, and let me loose!
Erika Taylor - Designer
Cutting rings of paper to create garland, making ghost gum from glue, and adding a little too much glitter to any heart I drew. The creative bug bit me at a very early age and I've never looked back. Hi everyone, I'm Erika Taylor and I'm a craftaholic!!! In 2008, I decided to start paper crafting and one thing led to another. I've been blessed to have been on numerous design teams over the past few years and I'm expanding my own creative muse to include so much more than just cards and scrapbook layouts. I love getting inked up to create mixed media projects and if I can alter something, I will.
I live in Southern Alberta with my loving and supportive husband Mark and our 2 boisterous children. Anything to do with Vampires and the Fantasy Realm gets my attention, and yes that includes Twilight! I love Italian Sweet Cream in my coffee and there is nothing better than cupcakes with extra frosting(unless that something better is chocolate). I'm moved by the colors around me, emotions and the media. Creatively, I embrace change and love to try new things and I'm super excited about being a part of this amazing adventure.
Sandra Wilson - Designer
My name is Sandra Wilson and I have been a paper crafter/scrapbooker for about 5 years. Time passes very fast when you are doing something you love! I have always been into crafting my entire life and making people happy with my projects is very rewarding to me. I teach classes at retreats, scrapbook stores and traveling locally and nationally to share my craft. My other creative passions are pattern making, woodworking with my scroll saw, sewing, quilting, cross stitch and any type of paper crafting.
